Privacy Policy for SOC Watch

Last updated: September 27, 2026

SOC Watch ("the App") is a single-player idle/strategy game. This policy explains how the App handles information.

Summary

SOC Watch does not require an account and does not sell your personal data. The App does not use any third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. It does show optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob, which is the only third party involved in the App — see below for what that means.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, or any other personally identifiable information. The App itself does not use cookies and does not run its own analytics or tracking.

On-Device Data

The App stores your game progress (such as wave, budget, and upgrade levels) locally on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults storage. This data never leaves your device, is not accessible to us, and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the App.

Local Diagnostics Logging

The App uses Apple's os.Logger system to write basic gameplay diagnostic events (for example, when a wave is reached or a session starts) to your device's local system log. These logs stay entirely on your device, are never uploaded anywhere, and are only viewable locally through Apple's own developer tools (such as Console.app) during development. They contain no personal information.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App shows an optional rewarded video ad (to double your offline progress) using Google AdMob. We only request non-personalized ads from AdMob: we do not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) and the App does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt, because it does not track you across apps or websites.

Even in non-personalized mode, Google and its advertising partners may process a device identifier and basic technical/usage signals for ad serving, frequency capping, measurement, and fraud prevention. This data is handled by Google, not by us — see Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google processes this data, and Google's User Consent Policy for the legal basis used for European/UK users.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, the App shows a consent form (via Google's User Messaging Platform) before any ad request is made, so you can review and manage your choices.

Notifications

If you grant permission, the App may schedule local notifications on your device (for example, a reminder about your defenses). These notifications are generated and scheduled entirely on-device and do not involve any remote push service or external server.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a revised "Last updated" date.
